Every since I can remember, I have had a love of all things wild. As a child some of my favorite books were Where the Wild Things Are and The Jungle Book; I longed to live deep in the forest surrounded by wild animals. For my doctoral work, I studied Reproductive Physiology and Endocrinology at West Virginia University and Center for Species Survival at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute investigating acyclicity in female elephants. In addition, let me add that I absolutely love all things reptilian.
